This document defines payment, billing, subscription, and invoicing terms for Resumio.ai, specifically tailored for integration with Stripe (global payments) and Razorpay (India). These terms are intended for payment gateway onboarding, compliance reviews, and internal technical implementation.

Security Notice: Resumio.ai does not store complete card, UPI, or bank account information on its servers. All sensitive payment data is handled directly by the respective payment gateway.
Types of Payments
a) One-time Payments
Used for credit packs or single purchases
b) Recurring Subscription Payments
Used for Pro and Career+ plans
Note: The applicable payment type is clearly displayed to the user prior to checkout.
Stripe Payment Terms (Global)
Stripe is used for processing payments outside India, including but not limited to USD, AUD, SGD, and CAD.
Subscription Payments
- •Users authorise recurring billing at the time of checkout
- •Stripe automatically charges the user at the beginning of each billing cycle
- •Subscription status is managed via Stripe webhooks
One-Time Payments
- •Users are charged once per transaction
- •No automatic renewal applies
Invoices
- •Stripe generates electronic invoices for each successful payment
- •Invoices are made available to users via email or account dashboard
Razorpay Payment Terms (India)
Razorpay is used for processing payments made in Indian Rupees (INR).
Subscription Payments
- •Users authorise recurring payments using supported methods such as cards or UPI AutoPay
- •Razorpay automatically debits the authorised amount on each billing cycle
- •Subscription status is managed via Razorpay subscription webhooks
One-Time Payments
- •Used for credit packs or single purchases
- •No automatic renewal applies
Invoices
- •Electronic invoices are generated upon successful payment
- •Invoices are accessible through the user account or email
Subscription Management & Renewal
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled by the user before the end of the billing period.
Users may cancel subscriptions at any time. Cancellation becomes effective at the end of the current paid billing cycle.
Important: No partial refunds are provided for unused subscription periods unless required by law.
Failed Payments & Grace Period
If a recurring payment fails:
- The subscription may be marked as past due
- A temporary grace period may be provided to update payment details
- During the grace period, limited access may be provided
- If payment is not completed within the grace period, the subscription may be downgraded to the free plan.
Credits & Billing Relationship
Welcome Bonus: Every new user account receives exactly three (3) free credits as a one-time benefit.
Credits are consumed for specific AI-powered actions such as resume generation or optimisation.
Active subscriptions provide unlimited usage subject to fair-use policies.
Note: Unused credits do not convert to monetary value and are non-refundable.
Refund Policy
- Payments made to Resumio.ai are generally non-refundable once the service has been accessed.
- Refunds, if applicable, are processed according to the policies of the respective payment gateway and applicable local laws.
Compliance & Liability
Resumio.ai complies with the standard operating requirements of Stripe and Razorpay.
Resumio.ai shall not be held responsible for payment failures caused by the payment gateway, user bank, or third-party financial institutions.
All disputes related to payments should be raised through official Resumio.ai support channels.
